Organisation

The Stiftung Landguet Ried owns and administers the RIC establishment. During the year 2011 a pre-opening team established the Center. The operational concept, including the variety of uses is in its development phase.
An enterprise of this size must be managed and operated on a professional level. This includes amongst others the following jobs: General management, kitchen staff, building services, administration, communication and event management. A resident Lama will be on site to provide spiritual leadership, teachings and guidance. He will also represent the Ripa tradition externally.
Some work in the RIC can be accomplished by our Sangha members and friends on a voluntary basis. A permanent operational group, whose members are living in the RIC or nearby, will be set up. It is expected that these individuals will probably continue with an external profession outwardly, while engaging themselves during their spare time at the Center by taking on duties for a day. Sangha members and friends, gathering from all over the world, will work hand in hand on various activities, including renovations.
